Cross Fox Fur Quiver

Description

My latest creation that has taken me longer than it should have to finish ^^; I had help from ~Blackfirehawk's father, who made the strap for me since my leather was too thin for the snaps. He does excellent leather work, and here's his website with his work on it: [link] And Facebook page: [link]

This quiver is made with a real cross fox pelt and leather (combination of deer and cow leather....the cow is on the strap, the rest is deer leather. Well, except for the decorative piece, which I don't know what kind of leather that is since it was gifted to me), and of course thread and there is also some cotton material and clips and such.

This quiver has a snap-on strap that is reversible, so you can have the quiver on either side of your body and still display its outer "beauty" side (haha), or exchange the strap for another strap of your own if the snaps are the same size. On the other side (not shown in picture) of the quiver is a very well hidden pocket large enough to hold a bow string, bow stringer, finger tab (tabs or finger gloves), and possibly a small or fold-able arm guard. Essentially, the pocket is large enough to fit my fist in. This pocket may be held closed with sewn-on clasps, to ensure nothing falls out of it (though it is deep which makes it hard for items to fall out). The pocket is between the fox fur and inner lining, so your arrows will never catch on it. This quiver hangs slanted at the hip for an easy draw that is out of your way. It clips on to your belt loop (note: clip seen in picture is just a temporary clip. Real clip will be bigger). The quiver holds shape when full of arrows and hanging at your hip, but otherwise is soft and fold-able for easy storage.

I put a lot of work into this quiver to make it excellent. So much effort that my mom doesn't want me to sell it, lol. We'll see (though I really do love that little stub-tail!).

Nice job! Personally, I would've given it a better attachment system(lol if I knew how), so it wouldn't flop around. This one's good, but I'd probably OCD over it and make it so it wasn't flopping, lmao.
Are you sure it's cross though? Looks like a Gray to me. Fairly sure it is one, but I haven't handled the pelt IRL, so I can't be absolutely sure.
