My Work With Metals

So far this is what I've made for my jewelery class. Well, I've also done one etched piece, and one stamped piece, but those didn't require much effort, so they're not included. Plus we used this blue paper stuff for the etching and I just used an image I found on Google so I'm not sharing that 'cause that's not my artwork. And the print press thing...all I did was put a flower on the metal, and roll it XD Bummer was that there's other marks on it from the metal we had to put in there over it. They were scrap metal that had letters in them. The letters came off on my piece AFTER I did mine they got new metal for it -_-'

These though are 100% my creation.

There's two wolf heads, two clouds (YES THOSE ARE CLOUDS, SHUT UP), and a crescent moon.

The wolf on the left is polished. It's actually the same color as the moon (with a little discoloration in the middle...don't know how to get rid of that...), but in the picture it was reflecting the camera, LOL! It's SHINY!

The wolf on the right is the one I submitted before, but now it's got a black (liver of sulfur) patina on it. In other words I changed the color on it.

The moon is beveled. I need to go over it with the sandpaper again though, 'cause it's gotten some new scratches in it

The cloud on the left was sand blasted (all of it) and then I used a patina (same one as the wolf).

The cloud on the right was also sand blasted with some weird designs on it, and DID have a patina on it (also black...aren't I so creative?), BUUUUUUT after I finished the patina I dropped something on it and scratched it so the teacher made me take the patina off and tomorrow I'll be redoing that.

The moon, clouds, and golden wolf will be made in to a brooch by Tuesday ('cause that's when this is all due ). I wanted to get a picture now though before I had to turn anything in, JUST IN CASE. I'll be one rivet to secure the nose of the wolf to the bottom edge of the moon, a hollow rivet (tube rivet?) at the bottom of the wolf for fun (hang chains off of it), and a flat rivet to put the big cloud behind the moon and the smaller cloud on top of the moon. The pin will be on the back of the bigger cloud.
