The Lighter Side of Things

Another picture with Castle Rock in the background and the house that is dubbed by the Historical Society to have been the very same one that John Steinbeck stayed in while he wrote (or at least wrote about Castle Rock).

The house is very worn down (that front wall there looks ready to fall over), the windows/doorways have wire over them because deer kept going inside and getting stuck in the rotted out floorboards, and it looks ready to fall at any time. But none the less, it sure is cool to see in person!
